The Servers, Data Center and Network Infrastructure
The servers we use are Dell PowerEdge 2650 with dual Intel(R) Xeon(TM) 3.06GHz CPU's. The servers have multiple SCSI drives set in RAID 5 configuration.
The servers are located in the state of the art
Equinix IBX Data Center in Ashburn, Virginia USA, designed and built to effectively manage and withstand fire, flood, and earthquake. The data center is connected to a multi-homed BGP4 routed network built for low latency and zero packet loss to more than 200 networks, including
nLayer, BTN, ServerCentral,
Aleron, and
NAC.
The data centre operator guarantees that their network will be available at least 99.9% of any full month.
